Big Boy Memorial Fund for Special Needs Cats

Big Boy Memorial Fund Goal:  On going
Amount Received to date:  $1,500
Big Boy came to us from New Orleans.  He was left homeless as a result of Hurricane Katrina.  Upon arrival he became ill with fatty liver syndrome. We see this time to time in cats surrendered to shelters.  The cats seem to lose the will to live after having been abandoned or surrendered by their family.  They stop eating and their systems shut down. The costs to treat Big Boy and other like him cost upwards of $1,500. Unfortunately, Big Boy did not make it; cats survive fatty liver syndrome about 60% of the time.  We are seeking donations in honor of Big Boy to help save other cats who experience this awful disease.
