Donate Old Cell Phones to Help the Kitties!

From one of our wonderful volunteers:

I am collecting old cell phones that are sitting around in your drawers for Town Cats of Morgan Hill, a no-kill non-profit, 100% volunteer ran cat shelter that I volunteer for.Town Cats along with most non-profit organizations has been taking a horrible financial hit. We have close to 100 cats/kittens looking for homes that have been abandoned or rescused from death row at local shelters. All our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and micro chipped. I am trying to make something good come out of my cat Salem's illness and early death from kidney failure. Most families have 3 cell phones collecting dust. By donating your old cell phone not only will you help local homeless cats but you will make a huge impact on saving our environment. If improperly disposed of, one cell phone can polute up to 132,000 liters of drinking water. Your unwanted cell phones will be recycled in accordance with EPA regulations or refurbished and reused by Phoneraiser.com. All memory will be cleard for your safety. Also your donated phone may be tax deductible.

How you can help:
1. collect your cell phones and ask your family, friends, and neighbors to donate their old ones.
2. I will leave a drop box in my NICU units for easy drop off
3. If I don't work with you, please collect as many phones as you can and call me to come pick up at your convenience.
4. email this request to all your contacts
5. go online to www.towncats.org and make a one time or monthly donation via paypal in celebration or memory or your favorite furry friend. All we need to keep from closing Town cats doors is for 200 people to make a monthly donation of $50 or 400 people to donate $25

Please help me advocate for our furry friends that can not speak for themselves and to make something good come out of my favorite furry companions illness.
Sincerly,
 Diane Foxen
