One Petzilla Find Her Forever Home

Petzilla: Description given to moody, cantankerous, independent and sometimes crabby pets.  May also be used for pets who are full of energy, get into everything, or considered, "a handful."  Often full of love for THEIR people but only tolerates others.  Meet Town Cats very own Petzilla, Heidi.

Hi there! I'm Heidi, a pretty declawed brown and white tabby female short haired girl! I'm super independent, I do get along with certain cats that I lounge with in our favorite spots, like Mila and Daisy...but not too many others, they kind of get on my nerves! It took me a long time to trust anyone at Town Cats since my family left me in a carrier in front of the shelter with a note they didn't want me anymore for some lame excuse...in my book, there's no excuse to surrender a pet...Anyway, now I will reach up my front legs and hold onto my favorite volunteers' shoulders and rub my face against their face. Since I'm declawed, I get a little jumpy, but I'm real good using my litterbox and I'm housetrained and calm. I don't like kids though, a quiet home with adults will suit me best, and experienced cat owners who are used to dealing with cats with a spunky personality are a must!

Heidi was recently adopted by a couple who saw her on our website.  They decided to meet her in person and fell in love instantly.  While Heidi has only ever shown affection for a handful of volunteers at the Shelter, she took to this couple right away.  Everyone was shocked and amazed at how friendly she could actually be.  After only a few days in her new home, her owners reported, "Heidi has taken to both of us.  She likes snuggling at bed time.  She sits on our laps while we watch TV or work on the computer.  She still needs to find 'her' place to hang out in the house."  Who knew Heidi could snuggle?????  Paws up to Heidi and her new home.  It just shows that there is a perfect home for everyone.
