This June and July 2008 we would like to honor Bill Zeid pictured here on his honeymoon in 2007 with wife Lauren...and from all of us at Town Cats we wish you a Happy Anniversary Bill and Lauren!

Bill started helping at Town Cats in 1998 cleaning the cats' area which was a 45' long race car trailer we had converted into a kitty hotel by putting new linoleum, insulation, air conditioners and cat condos, etc. At that time, we only had about 20 cats to care for here, the rest were at foster homes. Then when we opened up at our new building location, he continued helping by coming every Saturday to help clean the 2,000 sq ft which is home to about 90 free roaming cats. Bill had to cut back on coming to help since he was married and moved to the east bay area, it is a lot further drive, but all the cats and shelter staff are very happy when he comes! The cats respond to Bill and he has tamed ferals and cats who just don't like people, but they like him!
