What you\u2019ll do:<\/b><\/h5>\n

As a foster, you\u2019ll take care of daily needs like feeding, litter box upkeep, and any required medications. You\u2019ll also help socialize your foster cats so they become confident and comfortable around people. When needed, you\u2019ll bring them to vet appointments or adoption events. How it works:<\/strong><\/h5>\n

When a cat or litter needs a temporary home, we\u2019ll reach out to you. Once they arrive, you\u2019ll provide a safe, stable space while they grow or recover. We\u2019ll schedule their spay\/neuter surgery when they\u2019re ready, and you\u2019ll help them through a short recovery period. After they heal, we\u2019ll coordinate their transition into our adoption program so they can find their forever family.<\/span><\/p>\n

What we ask of you:<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Foster volunteers should have basic cat-care knowledge and complete our Volunteer Orientation and Foster Training. A separate room or quiet area is important to help new fosters settle in. You\u2019ll need to be comfortable managing occasional vet visits and be at least 18 years old. We also ask that fosters aren\u2019t left alone for long stretches so they receive consistent care and socialization.
