Town Cats was founded in 1997<\/strong> by Rosi Mirko<\/strong>, a passionate advocate dedicated to rescuing cats and improving animal welfare in Santa Clara County. Through her unwavering commitment, she transformed the local rescue landscape, saving countless feline lives and inspiring others to take action.<\/p>\n For over 25 years<\/strong>, Town Cats has been a trusted resource for cat lovers, particularly in South Santa Clara County. With the steadfast support of her husband, Albert Mirko<\/strong>, Rosi built an organization that has rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed thousands of cats in need.<\/p>\n Known for tackling the toughest cases, Town Cats specializes in supporting Special Needs and Community cats<\/strong> that are often overlooked, including neonatal kittens requiring bottle-feeding, cats with intensive medical care needs, and those diagnosed with Feline Leukemia (FeLV) or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Beyond rescue efforts, we are committed to public education <\/strong>and providing essential resources to our community. We have expanded our mission by introducing innovative programs such as:<\/p>\n In order to honor and further the dreams of our founders, Town Cats is dedicated to continuous improvement and excellence<\/strong>.
